Materials
Quality
materials were used to produce colour reproduction accurate to the original
paintings, and Islamic design work. The pages are stitched and gold edged on
three sides. Inner covers and end papers have green silk lining. The inner cover
on each book contains an original watercolour painting by Julian Friers with
a gold embossed decorative surround. The cover is full bound with dark green
coloured calfskin and has gold front cover decoration. Each book has a matching
green box with silk lining. The overall size of each book is 500x420x55mm, and
the weight is 11kg. Books are individually numbered 1 to 100.
